RANGE & COURSE RULES
Below you will find our standard Pistol/Rifle Range and Sporting Clays Course Rules.
Please familiarize yourself with these, and ask an employee for clarification if you have any questions.
Anyone in the Bays, Ranges or Courses is a Safety Officer. Please be aware and mindful of your actions, as well as, those around you.
Violators will be asked to leave the property.
-ALL Members and Guests must check in at the office upon arrival.
-Before going into the shooting or hunting areas, everyone (shooters and spectators) must complete a liability waiver and watch a safety video. This is required every calendar year.
-The use of alcohol, any substances, or being under the influence of such, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in ANY/ALL of the shooting areas.

Sporting Clays Course Rules
Vehicle hang tag must be displayed at all times.
Members must wear badge in a visible place. Guests and Non-members must have a wristband.
Nothing larger than 300 caliber. NO .338 Lapua or .50 BMG.
Velocities must be less than 3200FPS.
No shooting steel with a pistol closer than 15yds.
No shooting steel with a rifle closer than 50yds.
ALL rounds must impact the berms.
No loaded firearms behind the firing line at any time.
All guns must be cleared before going down range.
No handling firearms while someone is down range.
Props on the range are for you to use, not shoot.
Props and barrels at the trailers are for matches only.
Please pick up your trash before leaving.
In case of an emergency call 911.
Eye and ear protection MUST be worn by EVERYONE while on the course. Shooters AND Spectators.
ONLY 12ga, 16ga, 20ga, 28ga & 410ga Shotguns
ONLY 9, 8.5, 8 & 7.5 Lead Shot Sizes
Maximum shell length of 2.75”. NO 3” or longer shells.
Lead shot only. No steel.
Shotguns to be unloaded at all times while not in the shooting stand. Semi-autos and pump shotguns must have breach open. Over and under must be open.
Only 2 shells loaded at a time while inside the shooting stand.
NO vehicles on the course. Only golf carts, side-by-sides and quads.
Ammunition to be used in The Clinton House rental guns must be purchased from The Clinton House on the day of rental. No exceptions.
If a machine malfunctions, DO NOT approach or attempt to repair the machine. Notify the office and an employee with attend to it.
In the event of a jam/misfire or primer fire, DO NOT OPEN the gun immediately. Remain in the stand and wait 5 seconds while keeping the gun pointed down range. Be sure the barrel has no obstructions before reloading. Call the office if you would like assistance.
